CALLING ALL ARTISTS

I’m making a requests to all artists out there who are looking for something new to draw, something exciting to create, or be a part of. 

If you’re a refugee from Deviantart, you might remember the good ole days of OCTs (Original Character Tournaments). 

To those not familiar, an OCT is where a lot of artists submit characters to fight against other peoples characters. Each person draws a comic, makes an animation, (or in one case, even a live film) of their character fighting their opponent and winning, and from there judges decide who actually wins and goes on to fight the next opponent. 

OCTs are great for many things: Entertainment, challenge, advertisement to not-so-well-known artists… OCTs have the ability to benefit everyone involved.

NOW MY REQUEST: I’m going to start an OCT. I have a back-story,  a host, and I am even working on area-designs for reference purposes. However, I have a problem.

In order to get this OCT thing a’rollin, I need some help. 

I need 4 more judges (To fill up the 6 judges rule I have, with me and another artist making 2) who can also help manage a blog.

I need some artists to help with possible prizes for the winners (you can be a judge and a prize contributor.)

AND OF COURSE, I NEED TO SEE WHO ALL IS INTERESTED IN JOINING SOMETHING LIKE THIS.

Obviously, there are questions to be answered. Please, please, PLEASE, come talk to me, even if it is just to satisfy your curiosity. I will answer any questions I can, and if you could signal boost this, that would be swell. Thank you!

High-res photo the-original-antlerbrows: I intend to color this as well, but in preparation for something to probably happen to it, I put it on the internet.  They are numbered for your convenience..If you can see them at all.  I wanted to work on relationships a bit between all my characters. Each set of characters are from a different series I want to do, all of them invented by me. 1. That is Raku-Rah, trying to subdue Sunny during one of his drunken rampages. The holy order that Raku-Rah created also has permission from the Holy High Emperor to act as police if the need arises.  Sunny and Raku-Rah have..”Words” and fists shared several times throughout the comic. (Which is why some of my friends pair them. Eh…) 2. The designs for these two are not finalized yet, but the one sitting down is Chrysanthemum (Chyrs for short), and the one standing over him is his assistant, Barnabas. They work as biological engineers, or scientists that actually work to create better bodies, reanimate dead tissue, and work to solve strange illnesses. The second number 2 is of a villain in the story. You dont need to know him yet.  3. Particle Life, sitting on a egg created by White Savage, who dosnt have her mask on in this picture.  This one makes me so sad..Mainly because this dosnt happen cannonly..At all. (Both characters are from The War Sage.) 4. Pincushion, and the woman that has no name as of yet. She wears many faces during the story in her mirror. In this picture, she is wearing the face of Pincushion from when he was still..Human. I dont want to reveal much here, but let me just say that the “Working together”pose is a surface perception. 5. From “The Dickenson Bomb”, some fan favorites, Everette and Paradox. 6. These characters dont have names as of yet. They are both dragon based Demigods, the fat brother embodying the sun, and the thinner one being a crescent moon. 7. Rexes and Zachary from a supernatural detective story I plan to do entitled Caged Flies. 8. The characters dont have names yet, but the story is about a Spanish boy who ends up taking up the role of his grandfather in robotic battles. He gets help through a hand-me-down robot who acts as a speaker to a strange man. The boy has to figure out if he can trust this man strictly on his words… 9. I dont have names for either of these two at this point…Eh. This tends to happen a lot. I have a huge story and no names. A woman who gets sucked from her own time and into the far past, and an intelligent bird with the ability to bend time to his will. More later.  (Wow, this probably took much to long to read. » Sorry!)
